Terms of Service

Filtro is a browser extension and dashboard that helps organizations reduce the risk of sensitive data being shared with AI tools. It scans content on the user's device and can warn or block based on rules the organization configures. Filtro is a safeguard, not a guarantee: it reduces risk but cannot catch every possible case, and you remain responsible for your own data-handling practices.

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be responsible for activity under your account. You must have authority to bind your organization to these terms if you use Filtro on its behalf. You must be at least 16 years old.

You agree not to:

• Use Filtro to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights
• Reverse engineer, resell, or misrepresent the service
• Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the service or its security
• Use Filtro to surveil individuals beyond its intended data-loss-prevention purpose

Filtro offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan, billed monthly or annually per user. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice, effective at your next renewal.

Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: Filtro scans content on the device and does not receive or store your prompts, files, or the sensitive values it detects. You retain all rights to your data.

We work to keep Filtro available and reliable, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we perform maintenance from time to time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Filtro disclaims all implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any data that reaches an AI tool despite the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You may stop using Filtro at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated. On termination, your right to use the service ends and we will delete account data as described in the Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Green Mountain Ventures LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above and, where appropriate, communicated to administrators. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
